‘We were trying to get a contract,’ says employee in diesel leak investigation

A truck driver in Kansas has been charged with leaking diesel into the city, triggering an investigation into an ongoing leak at a factory.

Daniel D’Angelo was charged with two counts of felony criminal mischief and two counts each of criminal trespass and criminal damage, according to the Kansas City Star.

The investigation into the leak began in August 2016 when employees discovered a diesel truck at the facility that had been abandoned and had not been properly maintained, according the Kansas Department of Transportation.

“A diesel truck that was abandoned and was not maintained, so the driver was concerned,” KCUR-TV reported.

A worker from a subcontractor contacted the Kansas Highway Patrol and learned of the leak.

When they contacted the owner of the truck, they discovered the truck had been left in the trucking yard for two weeks, according KCUR.

After determining the truck’s status, they went to the site where the leak had been discovered, KCUR said.

The leak had reached the front of the facility and was leaking diesel.

Inspections showed the truck was in an elevated position, and there were numerous holes and cracks in the diesel flooring, according KSAT-TV.

Amazon ships thousands of packages to Puerto Rico, as Hurricane Maria makes landfall

New York Times reporter Andrew Marantz reports on Amazon’s efforts to ship thousands of package packages to the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico as Hurricane Jose hits the island.

The delivery of packages is one of several ways Amazon is helping Puerto Rico deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

(The Associated Press) Amazon said Monday it shipped 2,200 packages to San Juan, the capital of the U of P territory.

Amazon spokeswoman Molly Riggs said it’s the largest number of packages it’s shipped since Maria struck the island on Sept. 20.

The company is using its delivery service to help Puerto Rico get relief packages from local authorities.

Amazon also said it sent another 730 packages to other Puerto Rican cities.

The packages were sent to Amazon warehouses in New Jersey and New York.

The deliveries are part of Amazon’s response to the massive damage to Puerto Rican infrastructure that hit the island over the weekend.

It also sent some 4,000 packages to Texas, which was hit hard by the hurricane.

Puerto Rico has the worst of the storm’s aftermath, with an island without power and a widespread power outage.

The island is also the site of a recent lawsuit that accused Amazon of discriminating against minority workers in a way that discriminated against women and children.

Amazon says it has sent more than 5 million packages to U.N. shelters in Puerto Rico.

The U.P. is trying to get back to normal business as usual.

Ricardo Rosselló is asking the U,S.

Congress to pass a relief package that would provide more assistance to the island’s poorest residents.

Amazon said it has not yet received an official request from Puerto Rico for help with its disaster relief.

Why Uber is leaving Lyft, UberX, and others in bankruptcy: The tech news is on the line

Posted June 02, 2018 11:03:33What would a bankruptcy ruling look like?

What does it mean for you if you are one of the tens of thousands of people who are now facing bankruptcy?

What do you think about this week’s bankruptcy filing?

What are you waiting for?

Let’s find out!

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Uber had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The WSJ reported that Uber is seeking to reduce its debt to about $1.4 billion.

This is in addition to a $500 million cash shortfall, the WSJ noted.

Uber was already in Chapter 11 in 2014 and again in 2016.

However, the company was forced to file for bankruptcy protection after a series of legal battles.

Its creditors, including some former employees, filed a class-action lawsuit against the company in 2017.

Uber has a pending class-wide lawsuit against Lyft.
